It is insufficient if: you are aiming for a job where you will need to communicate regularly in writing, send emails to clients, etc.br>
From 500: professional level spelling
This score reflects your ability to write in a managerial, commercial, engineering, or other role. You can write elaborate texts without mistakes.
It is sufficient if: you are in regular contact with clients, you need to write reports, etc.
It is insufficient if: you need to proofread what colleagues produce, you have to address an audience with high spelling requirements.
From 700: business level spelling
This score not only enables you to write excellent texts without errors, but also to proofread what is produced by colleagues.
It is sufficient if: you need to produce or correct texts in specific professional environments (lawyers, notaries, executive assistants, department managers, etc.).
It is insufficient if: you aim for a level of excellence in French that enables you to write without any mistakes, whatever the level of difficulty.
From 900: expert level spelling
This score not only enables you to write excellent texts without errors, but also to proofread what is produced by colleagues.
You can consider yourself a true expert in the French language. This excellent command places you among the benchmarks in spelling. We advise you to aim for this level if you wish to work in professions specifically linked to the world of letters, such as translation, rewriting, training, and coaching in letters, etc.

OBJECTIVE
◾ To review the basic rules of the French language: to respect the spelling rules of the words of the professional lexicon, to conjugate and agree verbs, to agree in a coherent way the elements included in a nominal group, to differentiate the paronyms of the professional lexicon and to choose the right word according to the context, to write correctly the grammatical and lexical homophones
◾ Work with personal coaching in private lessons or in mini-group workshops on gaps and difficulties to make professional writing more effective and error-free
◾ Aim for the highest score in the Voltaire Certificate spelling test
HOW THE COURSE WORKS
After an initial 15-minute assessment, the learner is directed towards the online course best suited to his or her level of spelling: either by following the FONDAMENTAUX CAMPUS, PRO and PONT SUP modules, or via the SUPÉRIEUR module if the initial level is already robust. Then, the learner discovers the ORTHOTYPOGRAPHY and EXCELLENCE modules to reach the zero-error objective.
CONTENT: SPELLING COURSE
◾ VOLTAIRE PROJECT MODULE “CAMPUS FUNDAMENTALS”: 47 fundamental grammar points.
◾ PROJECT VOLTAIRE “PRO + UPPER DECK” MODULES: 84 Pro rules and 56 Upper Deck rules commonly used in a professional environment with simple and short sentences.
◾ “SUPERIOR” MODULE: In-depth work on 140 unmastered rules, grouped into 10 levels in increasing order of difficulty (14 rules per level).
Revision of the 10 levels (repetition of the 140 rules) with a refresher on the last points not mastered.
◾ ORTHOTYPOGRAPHY MODULE: 24 rules on 4 levels. The Voltaire Project’s Orthotypography module allows you to see or review the 24 rules most used in French writing.
◾ “EXCELLENCE” MODULE: In-depth work on 200 unmastered rules grouped into 14 levels in increasing order of difficulty.
Revision of the 14 levels (repetition of the 200 rules) with a refresher on the last points not mastered.
